Hand crafted Mahoghany  wood "Chinese Checkers" game board on decorated base with polychrome painted detail in traditional Maranao culture tribal colors and stylized bird feather design motifs. Decorated with thirty-six antique Chinese coins of different denominations surrounding the six home base star points. This fine example of folk art was acquired in and originates from Mindanao island, Sulu sea southern Philippines and dates from the mid 20th century. This collectors item is signed by owner and or artist, in fine condition and measures 30" diameter by 9" tall on base.
