Hand hewn intricately carved teak double door building frontal façade / portico with two sets of arched double shuttered windows. From a first level building in the city of Jaisalmer. This complex and beautifully executed hand crafted façade features detailed double peacocks and lions, six sets of two mounted galloping horses with riders on lintel and center panel, two winged female figures, fleur-de-lys like fretwork flowers and fauna, and rambling ivy leaf scroll designs & motifs. With rich original iron
hingeing, lock and latch hardware and traditional brass pointed button ornamentation. Acquired and unassembled (26 pieces) on a recent buying trip to Rajasthan and re-assembled in our warehouse. This extraordinary and rare example of period building architecture of the locale dates from the 19th century and measures 13 feet tall by 12' 3" wide. From Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India.
