Intricately carved 'yarin', (local pine) wood "devils throne" festival dance prop. It features several colorful polychrome painted highly stylized and detailed devil-like demons, serpents, animals and human-like forms. It was acquired in Guerrero, Mexico, and is from a private collection. This unusual and rare chair piece dates from the mid 20th century and is in good condition. Measure's 28" wide x 26" tall
