Ceremonial Rain Drum

Antique bronze finished cast brass ceremonial rain drum with traditional solar star burst top design and bird, elephant and fish detail motifs, custom made in northern Thailand. Inspired by the Dong Son drums originating in Laos around 500 B.C. This version measures 28" in diameter by 14" tall.
