Prehistoric ceramic red paint on buff globular jar from recent excavations in Northeast Khorat Plateau, northern Thailand. Traditional Ban Chiang culture design, decorated with interlocking spiral motif. The neck of this vessel is decorated with rectangular and criss-cross geometric patterns of unknown significance. 100BC - 100AD, 13" diameter x 18" tall, restored.
