Needle point on cotton linen, picturing five animal figures ( two rabbits, two mice, one reading "The Tailor & the ..., & one mole) in a garden and interior cabin scene from one of Beatrix Potter's ( British writer and illustrator, 1866 - 1943) children's books. I purchased this piece in the antique shopping area of Barrio de Santa Cruz, Seville, Spain two years ago. Dating from the early 20th century with silver gilt frame.
